Dr. Elisa Biancalana

Principal

Bio

Dr. Biancalana has been the principal of Timber Trails Elementary School since 2014.  Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Principal in Community Consolidated School District 59.  Previously, Dr. Biancalana was the Divisional Chairperson for English Language Learners at Streamwood High School and Dean/Divisonal Chairperson for Social Studies and World Languages at Larkin High School.  Dr. Biancalana began her career as a Teacher Assistant in Itasca School District 10 until she obtained a position as a Bilingual Teacher in Wheeling School District 21 and Addison School District 4.  Dr. Biancalana also works as an Adult English as a Second Language Teacher at the College of DuPage.

Dr. Biancalana holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois, a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University and a Master’s of Education in Leadership and Administration from Benedictine University.  Dr. Biancalana earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from National Louis University.

Kelly Roback

Assistant Principal

Bio

Mrs. Roback serves as Assistant Principal and is committed to creating a student-centered environment where every child has the support and resources needed to thrive. With a background in special education, she brings both expertise and compassion to her work, ensuring students’ academic, social, and emotional needs are met. She values strong partnerships with families and believes open communication and collaboration are key to student success.

She earned her degree in Special Education from Loyola University Chicago and her Master’s in Educational Administration at Northern Illinois University. 

Outside of school, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. Family is at the center of her life, and she brings that same sense of care and commitment to the school community she serves.
